Welcome to the website of the Auckland Indian Medical Society. 

The Auckland Indian Medical Society is a non profit organisation providing Indian doctors in New Zealand the ability to interact with each other, and also to enhance their skills by attending the many drug company sponsored events.

This website can be used to join our society, or if you are already a member you can change your membership details.  

If you are a member and have not been receiving invitations to AIMS events, please make sure your name is in this list. If you can not find your name in the list then please join up as a new member. Otherwise, click on 'details' beside your name to login and change your details so that the invitation goes to the right addresss. You may not be able to login if you dont have a password yet, this can be easily resolved by clicking the 'password' link next to your name and following the instructions. For help at any time send me an email.

There is also a comprehensive list of links that will be of interest to Indian medical practitioners. There are links to free journals and medical resources on the internet, medical student notes, medical dictionaries, resources for non resident Indians and also for those wishing to learn Hindi. 

Future improvements to the website will include more information about the committee and the society.  In addition, if there is a demand a mailing list can be set-up whereby members can broadcast emails to each other. At the moment you can use forum to post messages on the website that all can see.

We would also appreciate any feedback that you would like to provide about our events and even about our website.

AIMS has been in operation for the past 11 years. We have grown to have around 250 members, consisting of GPs and specialists mostly from the Auckland region.
